Look at the hundreds of people in that community in Minneapolis who ran TOWARDS the danger. Look at those who documented in their heads what happened so they could accurately recount it afterwards, look at those currently out protesting. Pay attention & do your part too.

Agreed. I know I am. A big thing for me this year is getting out into my local community more. Going to community events, and volunteer to help put them on.

I think personal connection where you need to gather your tools, sit down, and communicate with intention is something people are starved for in this day and age of firing off texts and DMs.

It is soothing! I've been enjoying the process quite a bit. Music, a drink (whether coffee, tea, wine, or brandy, doesn't matter), a sheet of paper, a pen, and my thoughts. Very relaxing.
It's also given me an excuse to try the different inks that came in the inkvent calendar I got this year. 😅

Ah, the 80s and 90s, when a kid could just get a kids magazine and find pen pals from the pen pal section that had kids' addresses published in the back.
