Coleman Hughes is a very smart conservative with whom I frequently disagree, but I’ve chosen his video to share with you for his cogent and concise explanation of why accusing Israel of genocide is just plain wrong.

Congratulations to Jimmy Kimmel and to all the Americans who swiftly used their spending power to let Disney know what we thought of their cowardice. That furious response was the most hopeful thing we’ve seen in our politics since Trump’s reelection.

The longer Trump is in office, the more he looks like an agent for Russia and China. I'm not saying he actually is one, but that his policies have the same effect, weakening us and strengthening them. Here’s an article describing what I mean.

Inside science labs trying to survive in the Trump era
Anastasia Khvorova’s lab at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School shows how quickly the administration is dismantling an 80-year partnership that made the U.S. a scientific superpower.

It seems that every week or two the awful people who report to Trump feel a need to prove again that they are just as divisive and hateful as he is. They give fresh relevance to the term “Un-American,” which I never thought I’d use.

Trump proves he is an enemy of science and cares nothing about America’s natural world.

His proposed research cuts would reduce us to third-rate status. He is doing Xi and Putin’s work for them.

Contrary to his slogan, he is destroying American greatness.

Yikes! 2025 is turning into Orwell’s 1984. We must support resistance to neo-Stalinism.
The champions of Free Speech are now forcing scientists to retract submitted publications until they can be checked for the appearance of “forbidden terms.”
BREAKING NEWS: CDC orders mass retraction and revision of submitted research across all science and medicine journals. Banned terms must be scrubbed.

Goes beyond MMWR +other CDC pubs. Applies to research already submitted to top medical journals.

Take a look.
