When I got home tonight after a 9 hour shift I kind of lost my temper a little bit. My kitchen was a disaster area. No one had brought the bins in from the street. The two people who had been home all day announced they weren’t able to cook dinner. So I just cooked for myself. #comfortfood

Today I finally made good on a promise I made almost two years ago and took my boyfriend to the beach. The facilities at Collaroy were excellent.

The lime tree that was given to me by my mum a little over 4 years ago is producing its first fruits. I have been patiently waiting for the first one I noticed growing to get big enough to pick. Today I decided I had been patient enough. I think this calls for a gin and tonic.

Today my client didn’t have any medical or therapy appointments to attend and she didn’t have any urgent housework to deal with. So I said “How about we go somewhere nice?” So we did. Because it’s nice to leave the house sometimes for something other than necessary errands.

Good morning. Sebastian and Jarvis are waiting for me to let them lick my empty yoghurt container. Kiri is waiting for a cat to risk descending to the floor so she can chase them. I am waiting for my green tea with mint to cool down enough to drink it.

Jarvis woke me up at the crack of dawn wanting to get under the covers. Where he stayed for about 3 minutes before deciding he needed to keep an eye on the birds outside. Who were being very loud. He then alternated between those two states every few minutes until I gave up and got up at 6am.
