I finished a couple serious books, and needed something cozy and enjoyable. I'm halfway through Automatic Noodle, and it is just what I was hoping for, while also surprisingly textured with deeper meaning. I love it.

Looking through more pics of Hal, and I came across this one of her ice fishing in her snowshoes. I don't know why I like it, but maybe because it reminds me of how she is always up for uncommon adventures.

Ok, after a long wait, here are the requested pics. The hat is a little tight on my head (Beaurito's head is smaller), but it has elastic in the back to accommodate some range in size. This was the largest "youth" size in the store. More comments in the alt text.

We finished off our stay in London with dinner at the Sky Garden on the 36th floor of the "Walkie Talkie" building. The views were amazing, but taking pictures was difficult because phones can't see through glare like an eyeball can.
