I love this. These types of shots show that our atmosphere is really just a thin membrane. #space #orbit #leo

Every time someone asks my kids what they are planning to do as a career, the lame brain response is that #ai will take their jobs. Give the kids a fucking break! Let them dream. You’re not smart for making everything dreadful. This generation can’t take much more of this.

Customer product reviews should evolve. There’s always the initial reaction but many people have more to share after some use. Buyers do want to know the lasting benefit of a product and would like what pro reviewers rarely share: the long term view

I’m in #Google #Chrome using Google #Slides on a Mac. Cmd+D bookmarks a tab in Chrome and duplicates a slide in Slides. Yo! #usability

The Live Photo feature in phone cameras has really been great for catching the moment. I caught a few bolts of lightening in Mexico by reacting instead of anticipating, then resetting the key shot. This feature is nothing new, I just enjoy it.

I don’t know if this is real but the comment has me #InAweOfMankind. And even though we had a couple of those things a century ago, were so different now. youtube.com/shorts/e7MP3...

To a billion people Auto Rickshaws are just a means. For their drivers: a life, lifeline, and versatile. For me they are novelty and I love riding them. Watching fleets weave traffic is satisfying. Their place in culture and the culture around them could be a study.

My prompt was “middle-aged Indian man as a Funko Pop doll” in #Midjourney. Results started strange (a gun!?) but no matter how much I refined or what images I used for reference, the result was always with a beard. Is this an issue with web sources, stereotypes, pop culture, or Indian men? All? #ai

Mont Rotui as seen from Belvedere Lookout (~250m above sea level) in Mo’orea, French Polynesia, Oct 2024. I was looking right at it and it still didn’t seem real.

French Polynesia has islands with such low light pollution that we can take shots like this with our cellphones.
