1. On Tuesday, voters rejected anti-trans ads, Elon Musk by electing Susan Crawford to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

It was supposed to be close. She won by 10 points.

Dems do NOT need to throw trans people under the bus to win.

The tide is shifting. Republicans are beginning to recognize that the attacks on trans people need to stop.

They do nothing but demean people & distract from the work government should be focused on—improving the lives of all who call this country home.

they're going to hang this in their museum of "things we're so sowwy we got wrong" one day alongside their AIDS coverage, provided they haven't been imprisoned
Of course the NYT sees the "DEI" stuff positively & is neutral on anti-trans discrimination

Some of the best reporting I have read about what is at stake when we talk about curtailing women's access to abortion.

She Was Denied an Abortion After Roe Fell. This Is a Year in Her Family’s Life.
Tennessee law prohibits women from having abortions in nearly all circumstances. But once the babies are here, the state provides little help. We followed one family as they struggled to make it.

Trans people have been here since the beginning.

No executive order is going to change that.

Major news:

Donald Trump has just issued a trans military ban, with much of the details left to Hegseth.

It states that being trans is incompatible with "an honorable, truthful, and disciplined lifestyle"

I know many military trans people who have served admirably for decades.

Shameful.
