It’s entertaining to see MTG take on the system and her party dons, but the D’s will never embrace her because of her past actions (rightfully so) unless she genuinely apologizes and shifts her entire approach to power. That is unlikely

We should never again have another shut down. Never. If houses fail to come to agreement the law should be that the prior budget continues until something else takes its place. Shut downs are stupid, they cost billions of $$, they’re painful, and they reinforce political apathy.

That they can do something that doesn’t make much sense- shut down the govt for a guarantee on something totally unrelated and win the messaging war
