Has anyone ever described people and couples as elements instead of celestial references? Instead of Mars & Venus, what about "Oh, she's carbon...she forms strong bonds with all sorts of folks." Or "Yeah, they're ionically bonded. He pulls energy from her and with a small problem, they'll split."

RIP. He was a true man of the cloth and the best pope in my lifetime (so far). Hopeful they can find someone to fill the role as close to their ideals as Francis.

In this way, he is acting like the king he pretends to be. Wasn’t the other king, the one who taxed the colonies without representation, who inspired a revolt?

Same same brother.
California’s lawsuit challenging the tariffs President Donald Trump has imposed on goods from nations around the world clearly raises a major legal question: whether a president can impose such taxes without explicit approval from Congress.
This is the major question at the heart of California’s tariff challenge
The lawsuit, the first on the issue by any state, was filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in San Francisco but seems destined for the U.S. Supreme Court.

same across many languages? amongst such words as chocolate and taxi, comes coffee.

The beverage first appeared in Yemen around the 15th century. One early name for the drink — qahwah — comes from the Sufi Muslims. It's derived from a longer phrase that means “wine of the bean.”

What part about supply and demand do folks not understand? Bay Area is a great place that can easily handle more density. Granted places might be smaller, but let's start opening things up and bring in some fresh folks and start families! It'll be fun, affordable, more youthful, and ever innovative.
