This is one of the biggest things I miss about living in a small town. My step dad is a lot of guys the guy they know. I both want to know guys and be a known guy.
my father-in-law is a “I know a guy” Guy. sadly all the old Guys are aging out of the Guy Economy. Guys are fundamentally incompatible with Hustle Culture because it’s not about “winning” a deal, it’s about collecting favors and goodwill in a mutually-beneficial cycle. protect your local Guy Economy

Korbin Albert should have been booted from this team long ago. Her off the field issues & on the field deficiencies mean that she is actively taking a roster spot away from a clearly more deserving candidate, and in doing so harming the USWNT pool as we prepare for 2027
