Everything started working again about 20 mins after I sent the first message above.
It was really strange before 11 CET: the app would stay in "Offline" mode and tuta.com gave server time-out. All other apps, sites and services were working.

I recently started mixing music again for the first time in 15+ years. I'm working on a mix for a friend's birthday.
It still isn't the same sensation as putting the music on physical media, but I guess this is as close as it gets in the digital era.
