Charlie Brown (and Vince Guaraldi) has real ordinary children’s voices - there’s a nuance there that makes Charlie Brown eternal (ok, 50 years and going strong).

Mr Nichols, I’m a longtime reader (and fellow Gen-Jones-ian?), and your observations are spot on and well-expressed.
Charlie Brown (and Vince Guaraldi) has real ordinary children’s voices - there’s a nuance there that makes Charlie Brown eternal (ok, 50 years and going strong).

The GOP speakers after Boehner have been incredibly weak, groveling absurdities.
I’m still gobsmacked at how Congressional and SCOTUS Republicans have given their institutional power to such a mediocrity.
