I plan to make nutrition a natural part of how I support others, whether I’m working directly with patients or with colleagues. I want to be someone who encourages simple, realistic changes and points people toward the right resources when they need more help. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

for my licorice lovers, in case anyone didn’t know the harms of having too much licorice! stay safe! @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
Eating too much licorice can be harmful! It contains glycyrrhizin, which can lower K+ levels, leading to abnormal heart rhythms, high blood pressure, and more. These effects typically reverse when you stop eating it. #NationalLicoriceDay www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/...

Toms story showed me that weight loss is about finding what works for you. This made me realize how important it is to personalize strategies for future clients. Long-term success comes from sustainable habits, not just quick fixes. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

I learned this week that shame is not an effective motivator for weight loss, compassion and support are. James’ response to Bill Maher highlighted how kindness leads to real change. Moving forward, I’ll focus on encouragement over personal and professional judgment @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

i’m definitely using this to improve my salads!
Salads can be super healthy, or sneaky junk food in disguise. Creamy dressings, fried toppings & sugary add-ons = calorie bombs. Go for dark greens, grilled protein, fresh veggies, and healthy fats. Build smart, eat fresh! #Salads #nnm www.webmd.com/diet/ss/slid...
The Healthiest (and Worst-for-You) Salads
Some salads are loaded with nutrition, while others serve up more fat than a cheeseburger. WebMD's slideshow will help you know which ones you should choose -- and which ones to avoid.

One major barrier to healthy eating that I relate to is emotional eating due to stress. When I’m overwhelmed, I tend to reach for comfort foods like chips, fast food, or sweets. It’s not that I’m hungry, but eating something indulgent provides a temporary sense of relief or distraction from stress

Rice bowls are my go-to! To make them more nutrient-dense, i use brown rice or quinoa for extra fiber, toss in some roasted veggies like sweet potatoes and broccoli, and top with lean protein like grilled chicken. Add a drizzle of tahini for healthy fats! #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social
