This sounds familiar.

I had excruciating joint pain, carpal tunnel syndrome and plantar fasciitis from my aromatase inhibitor; after just under 4 years, I decided to move to Tamoxifen instead, and the difference has been mind-blowing. I didn't even know how much the constant pain held me back from enjoying my life.

Merry Christmas! What a Christmas present!

Thank you! I'm trying!

I think my conclusion is that I can do physical activity every two days, but just not every day.

Managed a 4.5k uphill hike yesterday, a day after flaking out. And it was utterly glorious.

This! I'm particular the late effects from treatment part. It's not that hard to grasp, surely.

I should probably add that I only did 90 mins of skiing/day & took a day off after the first 2 days.

Still: CRASH!

Dizzy, slurred speech, everything aches.

But still, I win!

A year ago, I was in hospital with sepsis & a CSF leak.

This year, I'm in the snow.

Baby steps.

The stupid.

It's dumb, right? I just sent a very sarcastic email to an HR admin about this today.

Perhaps not the best way to address it.

I may need to send someone more senior a more serious message...

You're not an outlier!

I thoroughly disliked myself with short hair, in particular as it came back curly and I looked like a poodle.

This matches my experience. I had stabbing pains on and off a good few months after my wide local excision and node clearance. However, watch out for any other changes, and get checked out if in any doubt.

You just don't.

Mine surprised me with a second, unrelated primary about 3 years after cancer number 1.

So: Do. Not. Trust. Your. Cells.
