Intro for new followers & Twitter refugees. I went really silent on Twitter for while. I would like to be more chatty here. So I'm going to be talking about BTS (K-pop group), K-pop, K-dramas, and US theater. Sharing my reviews of theater & K-dramas. And probably post about my cats & general ennui.
On an Are You Sure themed weekend trip and spotted this license plate in the wild. Army we wish we met you. 🥲

The MTA ruined my TXT concert manicure. I have sent a complaint.

Less about the nail than the safety situation that caused it.

Could not get over the misogyny of this play. The whole second act I was so grossed out by what was coming. Like almost felt abusive to put us in this room. exeuntnyc.com/reviews/revi...

My brother restored our parents’ 1967 bureau for me. I was not an easy client. 😂 But it looks great.

I impulsively bought this demented keychain designed by Lee Know exclusively for Japan through a proxy and was sweating the tariffs situation but it has arrived and it is glorious.

Min Yoongi said he loved us and I burst into whole body sobs. It’s been a long two years but he’s home. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

How many times I did I write Bust op rather than Bus Stop writing this review. More than I should admit.

I profiled Patti LuPone, who sounded off on the state of Broadway ("I don't want to be onstage anymore. PERIOD."), her love of the New York Rangers ("It was all sex appeal"), the couple she deems "two of the stupidest human beings on the face of the earth," and Audra McDonald ("not a friend").
Patti LuPone Is Done with Broadway—and Almost Everything Else
The seventy-six-year-old theatre diva, famed and feared for her salty bravado, dishes on Hal Prince, her non-friendship with Audra McDonald, and sexy but dumb New York Rangers.

Also at the vet’s, they were inducing turtle labor on a turtle who had 9 eggs in her. I saw her X-ray. It looked uncomfortable.

The vet gave me medication to help one of my cats calm down before vet visits. Now I just also need a prescription for myself. Trying to get these two to the vet is mentally and physically exhausting. And I have to do it all over again in 2 weeks for their dental work. 😭😭😭

Heesu in Class 2 is an adorable little series (so far) and I’m instantly smitten. It has a Heartstopper/Love, Simon kind of vibe (which feels very novel for a Korean BL) and feels like a BL with a budget of more than $5. #kdramas

My friend starts telling me a story about a woman who weaseled her way into a front row seat at a show he was at and it turned out she didn’t have a ticket. And she badgered him into answering all her questions.

And I’m like “was it Nicki Cochrane?”

I sent him a picture.

It was.

For days I have been researching Barcelona hotels for a trip in the fall. After analyzing 50+ options (excluding many others for cost) I think we have settled on one hotel. Now onto the next city. 😂

If any Army were thinking about donating to the Korean wildfire recovery, my Korean language school is a US charity and will be processing donations for wildfire relief. So you can donate through them and get the tax deduction. secure.givelively.org/donate/korea...
