Honestly the game that comes to mind most rn is Sonic CD. If you don't fix the past, you get the bad future. But you can still fight and defeat Eggman in the bad future. You can still change a future that is bad.

Now that the other place is a cesspool more than normal, it's time to make a concentrated effort to be here instead.
