Yes, obviously you can't separate the art from the artist, but not clocking bad actors as creeps from their art before the truth comes out isn't a moral failing!

The neat thing about movies is that every decade has its own look. Complaining about modern movies not looking like movies is dumb as hell and ignores history.

100%. If I can’t trust the tool to do its job correctly, I can’t trust its work. People tell me it’s only radically off like, 20% of the time and that’s too much time to waste going over it to make sure.
