anyways, the family was originally tengrist, but converted to islam when they reached central asia. then they converted to hinduism some time after having moved to india. they still maintained a diet heavy in meat, but replaced the beef in their turkic style recipes with lamb or goat.

this only works on layers with large areas of terrain, because emerald rush does not let you reset terrain.

on the canyon layer, my combination of snaking and treasure hunting was so great that i reached the enemy killing emerald multiplier cap of 99,999.9. i had leveled up balloon hoarder quite a lot and gotten tons of balloons.

balloon hoarder is kind of a crappy perk on its own, but with the treasure hunting strat, you can farm tons of balloons from chests while maxing out apple and melon in the process, and unlike apples and melons, you can have a maximum of 99 balloons. i got up to like 40 in some runs

you get hammer thrower with the kong bananza and stack it with long range forager, kong forager, and other treasure chest perks and you'll get tons of chests by throwing hard chunks at terrain.
most importantly, you can take advantage of not just apple and melon hoarder, but also balloon hoarder

for layers like dk island and hilltop that have no natural enemies, there is just no way you're gonna hit 9,999,999.99 emeralds without snaking.

i tried to make the ba-NONE-za strat work in other layers, believe me, i tried. even in the landfill layer, the other one with peekaboopoids, they just don't respawn nearly as fast or in convenient enough locations.
