there were two strategies i used, one of them only worked for the lagoon layer and the other was what i used in every other layer.
the lagoon one was the ba-NONE-za strat, where i got ba-NONE-za and stacked it with perks to make it so that defeating peekaboopoids gives tons of chips and emerald.

a fun fact is that wikipedia started phasing out trivia sections in ~2007 since they were unwieldy and impossible to maintain but occasionally you can still find one in a random article (like this scottish polar bear who was on tv a lot)
