Training like mad to get my PPL (private pilot licence I think) so I can pootle around everywhere solo.
Once that's done, I'll be getting my flight hours up in preparation for my commercial licence so I can fly a 747 transatlantic.

9.7/10
Points off for multi health bar damage sponge enemies, every major boss runs away or you become incompetent the first time you face them, massive flag waving story tropes everywhere.
I DID have a ton of fun though, & would recommend.

I'm currently 70ish hours into Where Winds Meet with only 22% of the story done.
I've been spending most of my time playing solo mode, but have dipped into the MMO side more than I thought I would.
I'd still recommend if you want something MMO-like with souls'ish combat.

Imagine combat similar to Sekiro/Nioh, in an open world akin to Assassins Creed/Tsushima/Yotei, with Genshin/FF14/WoW social interactions.
Where you can turn the MMO off & play solo whenever you want.
This is glorious so far.

I'm slowly dropping digital stuff (streaming services etc) & going back to physical media, phonecalls, & face-to-face interactions.

Was only supposed to buy book 2, but book 3 snuck in too.
Yes I am currently obsessed with the litrpg Dungeon Crawler Carl series.

You finally got hold of book 1 (on import) that isn't yet in print in the UK, whoopee!
Reward: a shiny new hardback version of Dungeon Crawler Carl all for yourself.

Light: The Beast.
So far the only things I'm disliking are the weapons breaking absurdly fast, the dumb checkpoint 'save' system, & my biggest gripe, the overly grabby enemies, to the point at which it feels more like a bug, breaking animations etc, I've even been grabbed mid jump.

I'll let you know how it goes.

I do own Hollow Knight tho i couldn't really get into it, BUT I'm VERY tempted to grab Silksong, if for no other reason than to support the devs.

Having fun so far.
Xenoblade chronicles, with a modicum of Armoured Core.
No score yet, honeymoon period still in effect.

The absolute peak of recent Alien media. Lots of similarities with the original movie while still going it's own way. Apart from a few supremely dumb people the plot was as expected.
9/10 best of the series so far.

Still the best Soulslike out there at the moment.
(& there's me thinking i was finished playing soulslikes, apparently not)
There isn't much left to say except I'll delfinitely be grabbing the DLC Overture at some point.

If the demo is anything to go by, the game itself is vastly overpriced. Currently at £60, & imo only worth £30 at best.
It feels exactly what it is, a 12 year old game. Controls/voice acting/writing are godawful, wrapped in a pretty looking package.

A painful powerpoint framerate that belongs in the 1920's, Stories & behaviours that have zero logic, & an obvious & absolute disdain for previous lore, shifting on EVERYTHING that came before.
1/10 for the tax writeoff
Don't waste your time.

I'd like to remedy that, but at this time I REALLY can't be bothered with anything for more than 5 or 10 minutes without just zoning out completely.
Anyway, enjoy my dust magnets.

Oof...
It shouldn't have been a roguelite,
The artstyle is overly basic,
The controls are far too clunky for a 2d platform metroidvania,
It's VERY repetitive.
2/10 for effort.
Go play The Lost Crown instead, it's a TON better.
