I've seen some chatter about how Saturn's rings are going to "disappear" on 23 March 2025. What this actually means is that we will be looking at Saturn's very thin rings edge-on then, so they'll *seem* to disappear. It happens every ~15 yrs. Here's Alan Friedman's composite sequence for 2004-2009.
