what if the reason the uk don’t enforce tax laws on apple google amazon microsoft is bc they secretly tried once and those companies were like if you do that we’ll raise the cost of our products to ridiculous levels but only in your country specifically and it’ll make your party unpopular forever

hated the messaging. there was a chance to acc say something and instead, it was just your generic: CEOs bad, corporations bad, mass media bad. no commentary on the type of people who turn on the tv and cheer watching a man get hunted for sport. nothing on the people who actively assist and partake
just finished watching the running man. my european mind just couldn’t relate to risking your life because you can’t afford medicine for your daughter

like the back of the book told me that Duke Leto died wayy before i read the first page and i was still shocked when it actually happened
Dune is such a thick book that it is imposible to spoil, every detail on it will be surprising even if tou knew it beforehand and every movie adaptation attempted has left 98% of the plot in paper

i hate house spiders man. they just appear one day. where do they come from? what do they even eat? like i know the wild ones eat flies n bugs n stuff but my window is always closed during the winter and has been for weeks.
