Very happy to see this in print! Is the systematic study of the emergence of illiberal policy frames feasible? We think so and we bring data!

Celebrating Frank Baumgartner at the Annual Comparative Agendas Project conference. Immense contributions to comparative and American politics and beyond. I am honored to call him a friend and I am looking forward to learning from him for many more years to come!

I have always suspected that large language models need energy. But courtesy of long-needed research by @clint0475.bsky.social @patrickparschan.bsky.social and colleagues we now have more solid evidence of the impact of using them for research purposes #COMPTEXT2025

I first visited the Policy Agendas team at @utaustin.bsky.social a decade ago. Bryan Jones and the team graciously encouraged us to establish the Hungarian CAP project. Ten years passed, and here I was again, working with these amazing people. Here is to the next decade of great CAP research!

Thank you @hajoboo.bsky.social @fabiennelind.bsky.social for the kind welcome! It was a pleasure to present at CCL, one of the premier labs of computational social research in Europe! And yes: the robots are coming! :)
Yesterday, @miklossebok.bsky.social presented #TheBabelMachine, a toolkit to make computational methods more accessible for a broader community and at the same time a first step towards consolidation in a fragmented field. 👏
