Consensus is this is Zone-tailed hawk not a Common Black Hawk still really, really rare in these parts and just as cool!

I posted the image on iNaturalist and some think Zone-tailed hawk and some say Common black hawk, so now I don't know.

Today our Marty passed we aren't sure how old he was but we had him since 2006 he stopped eating yesterday and we tried to make him as comfortable as possible. He was the sweetest cat I've ever known.
