In this new study the authors noted what I would call obvious adverse effects of pain neuroscience education, which we predicted in our 2022 paper. Strange that they didn’t cite it, as I know they are aware of it!

On my Facebook blog A Path Forward I wrote about my thoughts and concerns with the numeric pain scale (and scales in general). Chronic pain is not solely objective as it is impacted by lived environments. People are reporting distress, not just pain intensity. Link to post: tinyurl.com/ycvrx6dn

What a great job...
Today was all meetings, but in the best possible way. Fruitful discussions with pre-doctoral, PhD Student, senior researchers and professors from physiotherapy, psychology and movement science. Covering strategic considerations, project meetings and a manuscript.
