That’s a fair opinion, but I’m saying this as someone who does this messaging for a living, so my perspective might be slightly different.

They punch, and we respond with a 7 paragraph essay about the systemic nature of violence and point out that hitting isn’t OK.

Meanwhile our nose is bleeding on our shirt and the fist is headed to our face again.

And then we wonder why we’re perceived as being weak and ineffective.

Definitely agree on the action side! No permission, no consensus. However, ceding the public square (IMO) to the morons is how we lose the normies that make up most of the electorate.

When we’re communicating, we can’t be afraid of being mean or rude to those who deserve it.
