Rodriguez claimed he was an ICE agent. DHS claims he is not.

They have created an environment in which a reasonable person cannot know if the person drawing a gun on them is in fact a member of any law enforcement agency.
This is good news. The ICE agent is arrested on state charges, so the Convicted FElon & the Regime can't do anything to stop this. They can try but it will be illegal.

Lots of folks captioning aurora photos like "for a few minutes we didn't think about politics"

guess I'm built different, every time I'm out trying to see night sky stuff I frequently think about how much light pollution is entirely preventable with just a tiny bit of regulation

As someone with a relative with dementia, this seems like an idea that would have been particularly promising in the earlier stages of the diagnosis. Social time with others in the same situation is helpful for anyone but I would think more so for anyone in this hazy, confusing mental space

Labor laws were the compromise
Of course it’s illegal. That doesn’t really matter anymore unless the courts do something about it, and even then, it only matters if their orders are followed. We’re not in a new era—we’re back in an old one.

These plutocrat motherfuckers need to remember that labor laws were the compromise.

They must create a police/military state in order to exist after 2025. They are removing the state functions designed to protect the citizens most abused by the system. When that protection is revoked, those people have nothing to lose, nothing to keep them compliant. They know what happens next.
VERY IMPORTANT to label this as what it is, The Police State Executive Order. it's not an exaggeration. This is the inner wiring of a police state.
The first and most important thing to know about last night's Exec order is that it's intended to break current law and allow people throughout the federal gov look at yr tax returns. Beyond that it's intended to compel states to turn over all their data to the fed govt.

Comes after USDA canceled $1B for schools and food banks to buy food from farms.

Unfortunately modern farming (including organic) relies heavily on plastic throughout the growth cycle. We need to find alternatives or accept lower yields per unit of labor. 🤷‍♂️
A good part of my job is to read extremely concerning studies in order to compose cross-sectional view of What's At Stake and work out ways to engage stakeholders

Another example of the dumb-fuckery. We face major challenges growing food, and weather impacts everything. We depend on predictive science to help make decisions on timing and investment. If I have to guess more than I already do…it will be bad.
