Punditry abounding on Cleveland vs Trump. Consider, in conjunction, the oft-reposted Ann Telnaes cartoon (seen here); and Richard Hofstadter: “out of heartfelt conviction [Cleveland] gave to the interests what many a lesser politician might have sold them for a price.” So... one difference at least!
