Rest assured:

I spent HOURS on that bus thinking about little else but ways to devalue that Patriots win.

Sight-unseen -- I have still not gotten to watch the replay -- I GUARANTEE it was fraudulent in a dozen different ways that I will discover with my objective, unbiased eyes.
@miketanier.bsky.social I know you’ve been trekking—glad you’re home safe—but have you had the opportunity to devalue the Patriots win yet?

Please go easy. I’m a very sensitive fan, naturally averse to public ridicule, and I’m taking a big emotional risk in openly mocking your crumbling Pats take.

Passed out on the couch at 8 PM due to my O Brother Where Art Thou odyssey. I am guessing the discourse between the 2 most irascible NFL fanbases with both the Eagles and Packers playing poorly last night was entertaining.

The 1st 12 hours on the Greyhound were tranquil, almost pleasant. Things deteriorated over the subsequent 16.
Sports radio here in MN always has a punishment for their season fantasy bet. A couple years ago, the loser had to take a greyhound from Vegas to Minneapolis and these update sound much like what happened to him too.

Charlotte, 2 AM. Mandatory off-the-bus for a driver change. A fight breaks out in the terminal. Cause unknown.

Lol

At least I got to see that safety live today.

And Daboll had Dart running keepers down 3 scores in the 4th quarter in past games
Yea, I think this more a failure by the league not pulling him, but Daboll will still get blamed since he just got a massive fine for going into the blue tent.
November 9, 2025 at 9:24 PM
Seriously?
He played at least one more possession after he took the likely hit that knocked him out

On a bus to nowhere. Did Daboll break Dart?

The Mobile Alabama greyhound station ain't even Dauphin Street, let alone Bourbon Street.

Chance of getting a plane in next 2 days was low AND carried risk of more cluster humps.

Early amtrak trains heading anywhere useful were sold out.

My driving glasses are in the car at Philadelphia airport.

Bus is quiet and clean. Taking what I can get
I hope you tell us why Greyhound was the best option. I don’t doubt that it was, but I’m always curious to hear about why.

Greetings from the Greyhound terminal in New Orleans. Things are going great!

Update: we stranded
So, my wife and I slipped away for a 2 day getaway in New Orleans. Plans made months before any shutdowns.

Have been waiting 5 hours for a flight that keeps getting delayed.

Please send positive vibes!

I still think the Penix home-road split is just sample size, but we learned last week that loud noises startle him. So I am keeping an open mind.
Michael Penix's career off target throw rates when targeting open receivers per @ftnfantasy.com charting:

At home: 5 / 59 = 8.5%
On road: 20 / 78 = 25.6%

Found a new way to consider Penix's potential dome benefit @aaronschatz.com and @miketanier.bsky.social.

Blink test, could that be randomness?

Omg. Horrible.
Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Marshawn Kneeland died Thursday morning, the team shared in a statement.

Kneeland, 24, was in his second season with the team after being drafted in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

I consulted with multiple doctors until I was told that a cannabis prescription was the perfect treatment for my persistent ring around the collar. I now have much more time to get high.
@AdamSchefter tweeted
Sources: Kyler Murray and the Cardinals have consulted with multiple doctors on his foot injury and have been told the timetables for recovery have been anywhere from 4-8 weeks, with an increased chance of setback until it’s properly healed. Murray now has more time to heal.

Penning won't do this. He'll just get 10 holding penalties and 5 personal fouls defending Herbert.
Odds he accidentally tears Herbert’s ACL while in grrrr mode?
November 4, 2025 at 10:17 PM
Penning has been a disappointment and injury-penalty headache for the Saints. But he has starting experience at both tackle spots and is a Harbaugh-Roman grrrr guy. And both Alt AND Hart are hurt. The Chargers need guys.
Mike, you need to add a disclaimer that indicates if you are being sarcastic or not any time you post about the Chargers
