The "lions not sheep" crowd is perpetually busy acting like every rustle in the tall grasses is a predator. You know, the evolutionary tendency of a sheep. It's as if their mythology never prepared them for the mental experiments that come with existing on a planet with many cultures.

The last several generations saying "we don't discuss politics or religion" have led us to a world where we are incapable of discussing politics or religion. It has facilitated the very worst of humanity to work behind the scenes and give us a Christo-Fascist wet dream. I hope we can escape it.

It's "hilarious" to see people being grilled for obvious, egregious, incompetent, nefarious actions with placards in front of them that say "The Honorable ___." Putting the cart before the horse. Don't infer your people are "honorable." Let them show us whether or not they are. Spoiler: they aren't.

I will say this again: saying something is "common sense" is a thought-ending cliche. It is an attempt to make an idea unassailable without doing ANY of the work to show veracity.
