The maddening thing is, politics had absolutely nothing to do with the price of eggs. It was all driven by the bird flu. People are just gullible and stupid, not to mention selfish assholes. Humans are horrible.

We’re coming down next week. We get in on the 12th. We’ll be in Heath until the 18th and then we go down to Albany for a weekend family reunion. Then we go up to Cleveland for eight or nine days to visit Christopher.

I am reminded frequently of something that Wilson said to Tim over the fence in an episode of home improvement. Has he been your friend for 25 years, or was he your friend 25 years ago? I cannot believe how many of my childhood friends have bought in to this right wing Maga nonsense.

First thing I do every morning, and the last thing I do every night, is read the headlines in hopes of seeing what I so long to see. Unfortunately, to this point, it’s just been disappointment.

I quit going to lodge because the only guys attending are MAGA. They’ve run everyone else off. I’ve been to one meeting this year to turn in resignations of my offices and turn in the stuff I had at home so I could work on things here and not have to drive to town so often. 25 years and now this😢

She pulled a similar stunt with the Kavanaugh confirmation. She voted “present” in committee when a “no” vote from her would have killed his nomination, then when it went to the full Senate, she voted no, knowing full well there were not gonna be enough “no” votes to kill his nomination.

I was hoping that people would’ve realized how nice the previous four years were, considering the constant chaos of Trump‘s first term. Why they decided to usher in another four years of lawlessness, chaos and drama, I will never understand.

I check the news first thing every morning and last thing every night, hoping that that becomes reality. I have yet to see the headline that I so long to see.
