This is unacceptable! This is not what we voted for. It's a stupid excuse to say that it was to avoid a shutdown when Senate does not have the power to shut down the government in the first place.

I wanted to follow up on this. Addiction is a serious problem. The treatment available currently has a 5% efficacy rate. People who recover with no treatment also recover at a 5% rate. This is personal for me I lost my twin brother. Whatever money is available needs to go into further research.
