Banking on LNG exports is a high-risk gamble for Canada's future growth
Canada’s LNG ambitions are risky, poorly timed, and inconsistent with climate goals — a bad bet in a shifting global energy market.

LNG expansion has been proposed as a silver bullet for Canada's energy sector, a 'transition fuel' to maintain our energy sector in the face of the energy transition.

The problem? Canadian LNG is:
- Not a transition fuel, and
- Not set to be competitive on the market.
