Oh there's tonnes of illegal electric motorbikes here as well. Tough regulations to enforce. Some of the illegal scooters are even sold at national chains.

What we've seen in Canada is folks buying the lowest price ebike from a drop ship company or Costco, falling in love with the freedom, then treating themselves to a brand name that they can count on.
