As a producer on a modern country radio show, I’m often embarrassed by really bad lyrics but this new guy Chase Matthew takes the cake. The whole Ridgeline v Chevy thing and that the guy she’s cheating with doesn’t have “straight pipes” is 🧑🍳 💋

3rd time seeing Improvement Movement this year, last night at Garcias at The Cap. Incredibly special band and like no one else out there rn. There's really not enough superlatives to cover what they're doing. But I'm very excited to hear what their next album is going to sound like.

In Cincinnati last week and went to the Cincy Art Museum, which just happened to have a bicycle exhibit! It was awesome but I was also deeply moved to see stunning art from so many eras and to see art depicting the black struggle in the US, esp knowing that people are trying to erase that history.
