I thought they might have done a 40th anniversary of Standing On A Beach, they did picture discs of these for RSD a few years back.

We're going to Florence, and various other places in Italy a few weeks before, that would have been cool.

I knew you weren't, it's probably based on you being from that part of the world.

That's Curepedia isn't it? Shamefully I've got a copy (somewhere). I hadn't realised you were such a fan of West Ham.

Got the 3cd version and have listened to all of it a couple of times. Yes, great original album, great cause and no-one made me buy it, but it's terrible. Out of loyalty I'll try to persist with it. I would say the better tracks are on disc 3, but none come anywhere near the originals.

It drives me nuts. The Telegraph, Mail, Sun etc and the politicians they sponsor like Johnson, Farage, Cameron & Truss got everything they wanted for fourteen of the last fifteen years & only now, with Labour in power for *less than one*, do they acknowledge the damage they have done. It’s sick.

Watched that the other night, there's the scene that's 'of its time' but it's a great film.

I also vaguely remember that rather snarky review. A lot of those journalists thought it was clever to just slag bands off.

Not sure it was that exact show, but definitely saw them at Wembley Arena in December 1987.

There were lots of interesting people there, we were very lucky.

Went to the shows at Wembley on the 1st and 3rd, great nights. Got into the after-party, someone photo-bombed a picture of me and my wife
