If Dallas ever considers trading Luka, they'd demand far more than AD, an unproven young player, and one pick. They would likely need a huge package of first-rounders and young stars in return. Mavericks should reject this trade instantly unless they're getting an absolute king's ransom in return. This trade would be a bold move for both the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers, but it doesn't seem like a fair deal from Dallas' perspective. Let's break it down. Why the Mavericks Shouldn't Do This Trade: 1. Luka Doncic is a generational talent - He is the heart of the Mavericks and already a top-5 player in the NBA.
