Could've lived with maybe a $10 or maybe $20 mark up but to jump up nearly $50 bucks from a year? That's basically abusive price gouging.

Oh, HELL no.

WWE loves to put people in positions to take the blame for their abysmal decision making. They did it with roman for ten years. Fans fall for it hook, line, and sinker every time and think they're being radical in fighting against the machine 💀

Duly noted and do have an appreciation for it. By comparison, I quite enjoyed Annihilation.

Been a lifelong blindspot. But frankly, by comparison I felt I got familiar enough with Cameron's catalog to put it on standby. I will get it to someday.

By the way, for years I confused The Thing for The Abyss strictly based on their covers. lol

I know silly but my brain does *gestures broadly*

Oh, yeah Jim Cameron has earned his legend status. He's not Spielberg but I don't think Steven could've done Terminator the way Cameron did.

I've still yet to scratch The Abyss off the list. Always heard good things.

Oh for sure. Trust me, I hear ya. When it first came out I had a dismissive 'oh, Fergully in 3-D' reaction. But over time I grew to appreciate it for what it was. Especially after films following tried to achieve the same level of technical work and missed.

Holding a grudge on a player for torturing you and your favorite team is righteous sports fandom logic. lol I get that, and now it makes sense. I was just speaking neutrally.

And yeah, I think Gonchar should get a nod.

As for the Kyle Beach scandal, while it did occur while DK was on the Blackhawks I don't recall him having any involvement in helping cover it up or anything.

We can have separate discussions about whose better than Duncan Keith and whether his own merits is worthy of HOF status. Also, if the players perceived better than him don't get in (within reason) then he can be cited as a counter argument.

I'll say this much, he objectively did enough for Hall of Fame consideration. Whether he should've gotten in is the fun part of the discussion.
