Also interesting, is how long it's been since any poll, from any pollster, found above 50% support for the union. It's been 14 months since a poll 51% or more in support. In that time, there's been three for independence, at 51 and 52%.
Average support for the union has fallen around 10% since 2014

Did he mean to say there was no intelligence there? He'd be right, though not in the way he probably meant.

Exactly. Westminster's either failing morally, or acting cowardly. It's one or the other, and people will view this appeasement of a fascist, the way they would if they were welcoming Hitler. They'll never live it down. One wouldn't expect any less than the DEform party. We can now add Labour to it

The photo is Elgin centre (not taken by me), but it's the town I was walking through yesterday, and saw how empty it was.

Is that a new thing? I know some shops in some places only do certain hours on Sundays. I never knew Monday was one of those days.

I remember when shopping centres were the big threat to town centres, now they're both struggling to survive.

I knew, or at least I'd heard that online shopping was hurting town centres, but because I've never been a big shopper, even before online shopping, the few times I've been into town, I'm used to seeing more people around. This time it was almost empty, at 2pm on a Monday afternoon.
