And her “apology” was not an apology but a re enforcement of her quite clearly racist viewpoint. How will the wider media view it? How will #Farage react?
Nothing on the BBC Radio news this morning. Nothing I could find on their website. This is an MP from the party whose lead in the opinion polls normally ensures them wall-to-wall coverage. She spouts racist nonsense for which even she feels obliged to apologise. What on earth are they playing at?

As Jo Grady, the UCU general secretary, said:

“This is an economically illiterate policy; no country has ever grown by slashing university places. Nonsensical ideas such as this come as no surprise from the party that crashed the economy…”
She's nothing if not predictable, is she? I know the Tories aren't keen on anything Green these days, but pretty much all they've done this week is recycle stuff they've been banging on about--for the most part fruitlessly--for the last decade and a half. And today it's "Mickey Mouse" degrees. 🙄

And at night in #Thatchertheatre …….. well, you know what happens…..
"Thatcher theatre" - pretty much sums up cul-de-sac into which the Conservative Party has driven itself in the decades since her defenestration. And now it too, risks becoming a museum piece, fit only for two or three glass display cases rather than a return to office.

It is indeed increasingly annoying and unbalanced the way in which the BBC report on immigration and on Farage/ReformUK. It is also what they do not report on.
This is awful. I feel for this poor woman. However, the BBC has had a hand in this upturn in racism by creating and promoting constantly and disproportionately Nigel Farage and Reform UK.
