I’ve been looking around for a while for an old butler sink for the outdoor kitchen I’m building. Yesterday one of my neighbours got rid of one, which would be great on its own, but this sink is originally from the British Museum, making it awesome.

In light of what is happening in America in 2025, it’s staggering how accurate Back To The Future II really was.

This still looks like a solvable problem.
The energy requirement is going to be the major limiting factor to AI for quite some time, not the capability to reason.

Number 1. On my list of dangerous/untrustworthy tools, the Router.
Someone looked at a vertical milling machine and thought, awesome tool. Let’s take the head off and replace the 1 tonne of cast iron stability with two plastic handles.
Plus in the US it’s pronounced router, and in the UK router.

Interesting, two completely different answers from GPT-4o and GPTo1 regarding Raspberry Pi’s Compute Module IO board schematic. 4o tells me to modify my custom PCB circuit or it’ll lead to complete failure of the PCIe link. o1 is totally cool with P/N swapping on a PCIe pair.

Yep, I definitely think I can retro fit something else in this Amstrad 464 plus. Might go for a #RaspberryPi compute module on a custom PCB, hence the templates. Add a #PicoPi to share the keyboard input, pull power from the main switch, fit Ethernet, HDMI, and USB ports on the right of the case.
