Whelp, beginning to lift out the Canna lilies and over winter the corms, but the Cleomes are getting huge now too. The humming birds are gone, and the Canada geese are preparing to head south for the winter.

For some strange reason, I craved a Caprase sandwich tonight. Had all the ingredients but the fresh basil so Alex went out just for the basil and some balsamic vinegar for the reduction.

This may be about it for the canna lilies. They did pretty well despite the drought this year. They will get dug up and the corms stored over winter before the first frost.

I watched the Bills vs. Ravens football game highlights from the Sunday night game, and I gotta say, it was probably one of the most amazing football games I have ever seen with 81 total points! Josh Allen scored about 15 points in the last 8 minutes to win-41/40!
