The FL congressional election results indicate only progress, not success. They should fuel our resolve to restore democracy, not lessen the urgency.
Instead of worrying that a warning is some form of virtue signaling, I suggest grant the possibility it is issued with kindness and concern, and move on.
“Trigger warnings”, otherwise known as “warnings”, are acts of respect and care for listeners with sensitivity to certain topics or terms. I contend there is no objective criteria to determine when to use them, or not; instead we all just do the fucking best we can.
I think I am going to piss off *everyone* with the disclaimer at the beginning of this episode, because it's explaining why I *am* using a word beginning with "g" for Romani people.
