Fair enough. I probably should have been more specific,too. The bright blue suit with the yellow shoes looks silly as hell. The darker blue with the darker shoes looks completely fine to me.

At the risk of showing my ignorance, why? If it’s just because those are the rules, ok fine, I guess. I’m not a well-dressed man. But is there some sort of aesthetic principle that explains the judgement?

I’m self aware to know I’m well past my prime, but ALSO, please know the game hasn’t truly started until I’ve hit that alarming level of red face. I can surf the about-to-have-an-infarction level of cardiac distress for 120 minutes. I choose to believe this guy is cut from the same cloth.

I say this with only love in my heart: At our local no kings rally, a few construction trucks rolled by and there were so many guys excitedly counting the wheels and being all like “look at the size of those tires!” We love our big beautiful trucks, folks.

Feel like the real problem is when the kids put in that amount of work at the gym and that’s all they do. What are the personality tradeoffs?
