O must admit, “if it can minimise tripod shake” was my first thought too.
Mind, at nearly £3000 for the 65mm angled version and £2800 for the 50mm straight version, it won’t be on my Christmas list.
I’ll have to look after my ATS80 for a while yet !

If I remember correctly Wollaston Eyes Conservation Group has won a grant to help produce more habitat suitable for Willow Tit.
Fingers crossed that it goes well.

2.
Despite all the Aggy and Mary’s birders also patrolling the paths and over 100 visitors there wasn’t a sniff of the Mourning Dove.

one observer today.

The weather was mizzly until about 12 o’clock and not many Collared Doves seen but a sighting of a Turtle Dove.
We stayed until 3:30 and saw lots of Collared Doves and the Turtle Dove showed 5 or 6 times
Food was out down in the field and around chicken coops.

If I remember correctly, we might expect the bird to roost on the cliffs.
Fingers crossed for those who can travel - good luck

Managed to see two at Land’s End airport last Friday. Hadn’t realised how successfully they were spreading across the county.
