Something we could do, either legislatively or through regulation, would be to require a specified amount of energy storage with each new data center built. They're already spending billions to build them; requiring a bit of demand shifting through storage would help the grid operators tremendously.

On a personal level I don't care for Phil Murphy that much, but on a policy and execution level I have to say he's done pretty well.
