This Veteran's Day I give thanks to those that served to protect our nation and uphold democracy. I'm also saddened and extremely angry as so many freedoms are lost — but we should continue to care for those that served with education, healthcare, housing, mental health services, and deep gratitude.

Dems clearly saying to everyone who organized their asses off this year they can go to hell and I'm struggling to see it any other way

Bipartisanship requires that both sides view human beings as equal, and we're not even close to that.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

This deal feels like a Max Rose moment, in every stupid milquetoast moderate spineless elitist cowardly what-the-fuck-is-the-point-of-you way possible.

Fight for people, fight for democracy, fight for human rights, or get the fuck out of the way.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

We don't have a functioning opposition party, and Chuck Schumer needs to go right fucking now.

It's so cute these idiots are worried about reelection when there may never be another election. Fuck.

These are human rights violations that are the absolute worst fear for parents and families of those who literally can't advocate for themselves.

Prosecute every last one of them.
ICE agents in Chicago violently detain a non verbal autistic man for being “non compliant”

He couldn’t “comply” because of his disability…they don’t care

This is not the first time they’ve gone after a disabled person

They target the most vulnerable because it’s an easy way to meet their quota

One of the most unpleasant meetings I ever had was with this guy — a shockingly uncaring man who only cared about himself, his money, and that people praise him at all times. I didn't praise him, he had a hissy fit.

So bye bye dipshit, It's not an airport, no need to announce your departure.

Again, don't base policy on what the millionaires will tolerate.

These numbers aren’t just numbers they’re human beings — and it’s profoundly disgusting that America has in only ten months become a vehicle of suffering for millions across the nation and the world.

Staten Islanders complain they don't get anything from city government and that they're "forgotten."

👉 But they should go talk to Republican reps they've had for *decades* who spend their days bitching and moaning and somehow get reelected while accomplishing absolutely nothing. It's your reps bro.

Johnson won't swear Adelita Grihalva in until the next Supreme Court justice dies, as is tradition.
It's been 43 days since Adelita Grijalva was elected by the people of Arizona's seventh congressional district to represent them in Congress.

Mike Johnson still refuses to swear her in.

Establishment pathetic, news at 11.
The New York Times quickly sending out Douthat to argue that Mamdani’s victory doesn’t really matter is so predictable it borders on self-parody.

Remember, folks: Every time the Right wins an election, it’s an undeniable expression of the will of the people. If a lefty wins, it’s just a blip.
