I took up basket weaving for Thanksgiving…

Mike will be making noises on Saturday Nov. 15 at Eureka Natural Foods on Broadway, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or possibly earlier if enough complaints are received, or if too much rotten fruit is thrown, or in the event of a natural disaster, or if a bunch of pigeons rise up and attack or something.

This was a weird-shaped white pumpkin that already had a distinct "face," so I couldn't resist plucking it from the patch! I was tempted to go with making a character with a giant brain, but instead I thought about other folks with extra cranial burdens and landed on Medusa.

I’m not a writer except for the two books I wrote: one is about how to carve pumpkins and one is about art, and also spatulas.
