Here is my Jinhao 9019 with #8 nib and truncated nib overfeed, attached by o-ring. I also have an Ackerman Zebra-G pen with an o-ring overfeed. They work very well for me when drawing. I use Platinum's Carbon ink, which is nano-particle, but without binder like India ink. It is waterproof.

Any good text on mathematical logic is a good start. Be sure it at least covers through the predicate calculus.

I syringe-fill the convrter,
hold pen, nib up, with rag around nib,
and use converter's piston to prime nib.

With eyedropper pens,
fill the barrell,
hold nib up and screw in section almost all the way,
then turn pen nib down, and finish screwing in section.
Primed nib.

Oh, the bit where you have to remember to leave the knob partially unscrewed when you need ink? It's the same with Japanese style eyedroppers.
