The pen is a "Capitol" eyedropper by Aiken Lambert, late 1800s, early 1900s. It's cap is lost, and it is discolored, but the tiny 14k flex nib has somehow survived. I use it with a rollerball cap that fits. It's a good drawing pen.

Jinhao 9019 modified to flex.
Platinum Carbon ink.
I love these pens; their huge nibs are easy
to modify with minimal tools, and
extra nib modules are < $5.

The Don's been publicly worrying about his mortality lately.
Age? Dementia? Psychosis? Somnambulist ass-holery?

Johnson remains steadfastly uninformed.

Jinhao Dadao 9019,

with truncated-nib overfeed,
and a vintage bone-handled ink scraper.

It's such a 1950s thing to be worried about nuclear war, but this is your secretary of defense.

Doing more and more insane shit for the base.
Don't want those folks to think
you're not on their wavelength.
More magical thinking:
Shoot that bleach. Kill that cancer research.
If it's rational, it's wrong!

New life for old nibs:
There are more old nibs still in useful shape
than old pen bodies, at least in the markets I visit.

The business end of my new (old) Elabo,
with Platinum Carbon ink creeping nicely.
It dates 1978, and appears to be identical
to the modern Falcon's nib.
