Next is Jacqui Bowman, executive director of Greater Boston Legal Services, recipient of the BBA Voice of Change Award: No one person does change work alone, and it doesn't happen overnight. Keeping the pathways to justice open, removing the barriers that keep people in poverty -- that's what we do.

By giving clients a sense they had a fair chance to make their case, and a restored faith in the judicial system, it even supports democracy and rule of law.
